Torrential rain that poured in Jakarta and its surrounding areas on Wednesday (12/4) night, caused puddles as high as 30 cm on Jalan DI Panjaitan, Jatinegara, East Jakarta.

Seeing this, as many as 20 PPSU personnel under Cipinang Cempedak Urban Village were sent to overcome the puddle.

Under the pouring rain, they tried to clean up the drainage from garbage. Other personnel seemed to help regulate the traffic flow and direct the drivers to avoid puddles.

"Within 30 minutes after rain ends, the puddle gradually receded," expressed Cipinang Cempedak Urban Village Head, Ika Yuli Rahayu, Wednesday (12/4).

It was caused by a lot of water channels clogged with garbage.
